Specials and Special Requests
Keep checking our website for our weekly specials. We feature complete pasta, entrée, or sandwich lunches. It’s a great way to try something new. Please notify us of any special requests on your order (i.e. vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergies of any kind). We are happy to accommodate any special requests and take extreme caution when dealing with allergies.
Equipment and Disposable Fees:
Serving utensils are included (when necessary) with your order. A $7.50 chaffing dish fee will be applied on all hot food orders. Please save all serving trays, bun baskets, serving utensils, crock pots, chaffing dishes etc. for pick up on the following business day. Additional charges may be applied for missing equipment. If you require disposables with your order, an additional fee of .50 cents per person will be applied. Please indicate when placing your order if disposables are required.
Delivery Charges
There is a delivery charge of $12.00 on all orders. If your order is less than $100.00, or if you are outside a five kilometre radius of Food For Thought, you will be charged between $12.00 and $20.00. Additional delivery charges will apply for outside the greater Edmonton area and deliveries are based on availability. Delivery charges include equipment retrieval on the following business day. If you require same day pick up, an additional $12.00 charge will be applied and equipment must be ready for pick up by 1:30pm.
**Please note that a minimum order of 20 people is required for deliveries scheduled for 2:00 pm or later.
Cancellations or Changes
Our staff begin food preparation at 5:00 am and therefore any changes or cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. We will accommodate most short notice orders when possible but prefer to have a minimum of 24 hours notice.
Billing
Food For Thought accepts all major credit cards and company cheques. Please contact our office to set up an account and to discuss payment terms.
